At MiPot, the experience begins with six distinct broth options, each inviting you to explore its unique profile—from rich and spicy to mild and savory. Many diners have raved about their abilities to adjust spice levels to match their individual preferences. As Alia Li aptly noted, the well-balanced flavors create a sensory journey that gets your appetite going right from the first glance.

For those who crave a bit more control over their taste, MiPot thoughtfully offers a sauce table equipped with all the essentials—garlic, chili oil, and more—allowing you to amplify your dish to perfection. Jason Chen found this customization particularly appealing, as it empowers diners to tailor their meals to exact specifications. In the world of Malatang, MiPot stands out for its attention to flavor and freshness.

“ This customizable Malatang restaurant is fantastic! They offer six different broth options, each with its own unique flavor, from rich and spicy to mild and savory. The ingredients are always fresh, with a wide variety of vegetables, meats, and seafood to choose from. The flavors are well-balanced, and you can adjust the spice level to your liking. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable dining experience. On top of that, the service is excellent—staff are friendly and attentive. If you’re a Malatang lover, this place is definitely worth a visit! ”
“ The taste is excellent, and it makes people feel very appetizing at first glance, but the portion is not large, and it belongs to the more exquisite type. Shengzai's dishes are also very fresh, the taste is moderately salty, and the heat is just right. The food is served very quickly. That is, the dining environment still needs to be improved, but the price is very affordable, and you will come here once in a while. ”
“ I love hotpot! But I love the ability to see the food options before ordering and also not sharing a pot with friends/acquaintances...sorry...not sorry, so MiPot was the perfect mix of both! There were so many different veg, meatball, meat options etc. I loved the tomato broth, but if you like spicy they have a traditional bone broth or even a numbing spice one. High recommend this for hotpot lovers! ”
“ I came here not knowing what to expect for dry hot pot, turned out to be an amazing experience. It’s a buffet style bar with different vegetables, meats, and toppings. After all is picked you pay by the lb and pick which style you want them to cook it for you. I had the spicy dry hot pot and it was delicious. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back. ”
“ If you’re craving something spicy and satisfying, the dry pot here hits the spot. Tons of options, whether you’re into meat, veggies, or just loading up on tofu and noodles. Definitely recommend! Tried the tomato broth too. The flavors were a bit on the mild side, but luckily, they’ve got a whole sauce table where you can customize it to your heart’s content. A little extra garlic and chili oil, and you’re good to go. Overall, solid spot for malatang, especially if you like to tweak your flavors. Just be warned once you go spicy dry pot, it’s hard to go back. ”
“ Variety of seafoods, meats, tofu, vegetables, noodles, etc. I particularly enjoyed their shrimps, New Zealand Lamb Slices, Angus Prime Eye Rolls, and house-made spicy beef. Very tasty, fresh, and high quality. Highly recommended! ”
“ Solid place to get relatively cheap Chinese food and dumplings in Sunnyvale. They have an extensive menu, so even if you’re not into dumplings, you can still find other stuff to eat. They also gave complimentary edamame, which was a nice surprise. Service was good. You order through a QR code, and the food came out pretty quickly. Dishes were served one at a time, which made the meal feel well-paced. The inside is modern and warm. It looks newly renovated. I like the gold accents on the chopsticks and chairs—it makes the restaurant feel like a casual but slightly-elevated restaurant . Parking was fine. We had no trouble finding parking, just parked in the lot outside. ”
“ Exceeded our expectations! Food was amazingly good. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of selections for our 麻辣香锅. We chose spicy and it hits the spot. Already planning for what we want to try when we return the next time! ”
